In order to regain her memories, Nina is in Prague with Dieter. She remembers that when she was young, Johan was taken to the Red Rose Mansion, and that she greeted him when he returned to the room in the building with the three frogs sign. But there is something wrong with that memory. When Nina tries to remember any more, only terrifying images are revived in her mind! Realizing that nothing more can be done by staying in Prague, Nina undergoes Dr. Gillen's hypnosis therapy.

It continues to rain in the town of Ruhenheim. The phones don't connect to the outside, and it is completely isolated. Furthermore, gunshots can be heard throughout the town. There are dead bodies scattered about. It's as if the town is a battleground. Inspector Lunge and Grimmer realize that Johan's final target is Franz Bonaparta. They confront Bonaparta himself, who has been faking his identity, with that fact. Meanwhile, in Munich, Nina is also determined to go to Ruhenheim in order to stop Johan from committing the perfect suicide!
